Expert View
Elaborative: Text that adds additional information, details or exmaples.

Inferential: Text that shows a result, cause or logical connection.

Contrastive: Text that shows a difference, opposition or contrast.

Temporal: Text that shows the time order or sequence of events.

The N label is called the Nuceleus, the S is the Satellite.
The Satellite supports the Nucleus. The Nucelus is the central part of the discourse unit.
